CAD Designer

Seats Incorporated has an immediate opening for an entry level or experienced position for a candidate possessing a two year degree in mechanical design or related field, ideally with internship experience outside the classroom. Proficiency required in Solid Edge or similar 3-D modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite. Best qualified applicants will also possess a working understanding of mechanical systems, and will be team oriented, self-motivated, organized and able to handle multiple assignments.

Job Duties:

  • Read and interpret customer drawings and engineering department specifications
  • Produce detailed drawings to be used in manufacturing the product
  • Maintain electronic files of drawings and other engineering-related product records
  • Communicate with other internal departments and external contacts including customers and suppliers
